The Vector Optics Rokstad Carbon Bipod is a universal bipod for mounting on a
21 mm Picatinny rail. It combines carbon fiber legs (low weight, high rigidity)
with an aluminum mount and mechanism – exactly the setup if you want a stable rest without adding unnecessary
weight to your rifle.
This item is intended as a variant product: You simply select the appropriate height in Shopify. Both variants
feature indexed height adjustment and rubber feet to prevent slipping. This gives you a
repeatable, clean rest – whether at the range, in the field, or for observation from the bipod.

Our Assessment (Practical Value)
With bipods, in practice, it's less about marketing and more about: How quickly can I achieve a stable sight picture
– and does the setup remain light enough to actually keep it attached? This is where the combination of
carbon fiber + aluminum shows its strength: significantly less weight than traditional all-aluminum bipods, but still a
stable rest when you apply pressure to the system.
The second, often underestimated point is the step logic. Manufacturer's specification:
12.5 mm per step (low) corresponds to approx. 1.25 cm,
11.5 mm per step (high) corresponds to approx. 1.15 cm.
This may sound trivial, but it's gold: you can adjust the height quickly and repeatably, instead of always working by "feel".
Especially on varying surfaces (mat, table, ground, grass), you'll get a stable image much faster.

FAQ
Which variant is right – low or high?
The low variant is ideal for flat shooting positions and maximum stability. The high variant gives you more ground clearance and is
often the better choice on uneven terrain or when you need to set up "higher" (e.g., over vegetation or edges).
What does carbon fiber really bring to a bipod?
The main advantage is weight: carbon fiber legs significantly reduce the total weight without sacrificing a stable rest.
This is especially noticeable if the bipod remains permanently attached to the setup.
How does stepped adjustment help me in everyday use?
You can readjust the height quickly and repeatably. At 12.5 mm (≈1.25 cm) or 11.5 mm (≈1.15 cm) per
step, you'll find the right height much faster instead of "correcting" for a long time at the shooting position.
Does the bipod fit every Picatinny rail?
It is designed for 21 mm Picatinny. For significantly deviating tolerances or special profiles, the fit may vary.
Do the feet slip on smooth surfaces?
The manufacturer states rubber feet to prevent slipping. The actual traction also depends on the surface and load
(e.g., concrete, wood, rubber mat, soil).
